*You don’t have to be a paid member to participate in IBA. All students and majors are welcome to join us at our meetings and social events! Paid membership gives additional perks, but any unpaid member is still a member!

Membership Points & Rewards System

As a member, you'll have the opportunity to earn points through various activities, such as attending GBMs and social events, participating in professional development workshops, and volunteering for philanthropy initiatives. Each activity is assigned a corresponding point value, allowing you to accumulate points as you get involved and make a positive impact.

You can earn points for the following activities:

1. Follow/Tag IBA on Social Media  (5 points) 

2. Attend a General Body Meeting (10 points) 

3. Participation/Engagement at GBM (10 points)

4. Attend Office Hours (15 points) 

5. Attend a Social Event (20 points) 

6. Attend a Philanthropic Event (20 points) 

7. Attend a Professional Development Workshop (20 points)

8. Attend a Field Trip (25 points)

9. Recruit a Friend to Join the IBA (30 points) 

10. Pay Dues/Become a Member (50 points)

How to redeem your membership points:

1. Check how many points you have so far here

2. Redeem your gift at Alter 503A at these times:

  • Friday, April 25th 1:00 - 3:00 PM

  • Monday, April 28th 1:30 - 5:00 PM

  • Friday, May 2nd 11:00 - 5:00 PM
